Calibratable dew point monitor HYGRASGARD® TW - Modbus - T3 (compact version incl. tensioning strap) or TW - Modbus - external (remote version), with Modbus connection, in an impact-resistant plastic housing with quick-locking screws, optionally with ⁄ without display, for precise measurement of relative humidity (0...100 % RH) and temperature (-35...+80 °C) as well as for determining various humidity measurement parameters. Condensation in particular is measured using its patented measuring method, the prodynamic transverse convection (no conductivity measurement). International system of units SI (default) is set to Imperial (via Modbus).
The contact sensor is used in non-aggressive, dust-free environments and is suitable for ceiling and duct mounting as well as for device installation. It is used in refrigeration, air conditioning and clean room technology, technical rooms, hotels and conference facilities.
Stable over the long term, digital humidity and temperature sensor guarantees exact measurement results. The following parameters are calculated internally from these measured variables and can be called up via the Modbus: relative humidity, absolute humidity, mixing ratio, dew point temperature, enthalpy (disregarding atmospheric pressure) and ambient temperature.
Innovative Modbus sensor with galvanically isolated RS485 Modbus interface, switchable bus terminating resistor, DIP switch for setting the bus parameters and bus address in de-energized state, internal LEDs for telegram status display, two separate push-in terminals and large three-line display (illuminated, individually programmable in the 7-segment range and dot-matrix range). The sensor is calibrated at the factory; fine adjustment by a specialist is possible depending on the environment.
