What is Rymaskon®?

The extended product family of modern Rymaskon individual room controllers enables you to monitor your room climate in up to 5 zones:

Why do I need an individual room controller?

Do you want to read the temperature in your office or hotel room and adjust it if necessary? Would you like to be able to influence the ventilation and shading system in your room depending on daylight, weather, outdoor and indoor temperature and air quality?
Then bring all these values and functions together in one control unit to directly influence the actual values in your room - either via communication between your room control unit and the building management system or with independently operating devices.
Intelligent individual room control can therefore make a significant contribution to people's well-being and health and help your premises to operate in an energy-saving manner.

What functions do Rymaskon devices offer?

The Rymaskon 1000 room operating units are available as interface and controller versions and offer a wide range of configuration options for the individual devices.
They are operated intuitively using capacitive touch buttons in conjunction with international symbols and a large selection of languages. The high-contrast colour display with powerful LED backlighting is easy to read at an angle of up to 85° - even in unfavourable conditions such as strong sunlight. Thanks to functions such as automatic brightness adjustment, stand-by mode and wake-up function, they are also energy-saving.

The devices in the Rymaskon 2000 and 3000 series (available soon) also offer monitoring and control options for up to five rooms, a practical and time-saving configuration of "scenes" and a large, colour and freely configurable touch display.

Rymaskon 1000 - Interface

The interface (room operating unit) is used to display and set the actual and setpoint values of a room. The values are made available to the building management system (BMS) via the Modbus or W-Modbus interface.

Temperature setpoint and fan levels, as well as sun protection and lighting can be set by the user directly on the device or specified by the BMS.

Rymaskon 1000 - Controller

The controller variants also have integrated controllers that control all common actuators, damper drives or fan coils directly via the outputs and can therefore be used as stand-alone devices. All values are made available to the building management system (BMS) via the Modbus or W-Modbus interface. If necessary, the BMS can intervene at short notice during operation and adjust parameters or prevent manual operation by the user by blocking individual functions.

How do I integrate my operating device into the room?

This is no problem with Rymaskon! Our operating devices impress with their high-quality appearance, elegant surfaces in white and black and a high-contrast colour display. The graphic design with international symbols and a variety of languages offers the perfect solution for all visible areas in the building. Intuitive operation is possible via touch buttons (Rymaskon 1000) or touch screen (Rymaskon 2000/ 3000).
Thanks to the convenient surface mounting, the operating unit can be positioned anywhere in the room and supplied with power. There is also the option of mounting it above a flush-mounted box with power supply on the rear.

How do I integrate Rymaskon into the building automation system?

Thanks to intelligent Modbus communication, the devices can be easily networked or seamlessly integrated into existing building management systems. The room operating units make the setpoints available to the BMS either via the conventionally wired Modbus or via the wireless, radio-based Wireless Modbus.

Rymaskon has sensors for measuring temperature, humidity and air quality in order to check the current status of the room. The room operating units control heating, cooling, ventilation, shading and lighting via Modbus communication with the BMS.

Is wireless communication possible?

Thanks to the latest W-Modbus technology, Rymaskon devices can also be integrated wirelessly into the building automation system. Extending existing networks with W-Modbus is also no problem - up to 100 devices can be assigned to a W-Modbus gateway in the mesh. The wireless range is up to 500 metres - even bridging critical elements such as fire doors is no problem. Thanks to the simple installation and immediate commissioning, you also save time and money.
